Viruses!!

No, the kids have not had a virus, but rather our brand new computer! It has been severely hit by a virus and Norton has been working on it for a couple of weeks now as well as my poor husband who has spent HOURS working on this computer. Oh what a pain this has been! I have been blocked out of blogger as well since the virus hit so hopefully now, I can start blogging again. Pictures coming soon . .

Soccer dude!

My big man had been playing soccer this spring and will continue through the summer and fall this year. He LOVES it! I mean what could be better, you get to run the entire time and you don't have to do a lot of waiting for your turn kind of thing! Perfect for any little boy who has tons of energy and loves to run and run and run and then run some more! I don't know how he does it but he runs the entire game! He has gotten really good too, he scores at least one goal per game and as high as five goals some games. We are really proud of how well he has done with soccer and just with listening to his coaches and learning to pass the ball to his teammates. We are excited for him to play this summer and do some weeks of soccer, basketball and tennis camps as well. He sure doesn't get his athleticism from his mama, but I am sure am proud of how well he is doing and I am so thankful he is LOVES something so much! My little Soccer Knocker!

Taking it slow at first

Learning to control the ball with dribbling skill sets.

Go Pax! Josh always is telling me to calm down, but I can't help but cheer for my little man! (Sorry for the blurry pics, we need to change our camera setting to sports mode for these type of pics from now on.)

Going for a GOAL!

Indoor Soccer. . . the buzzer is very loud! The last few seconds of the game Paxton looks like this waiting for it to go off!

Pixie Dust

Lorelei was Pixie Dust in her ballet recital play last weekend. It was the play Peter Pan that was put on by the performing arts studio that she attends. It was of course absolutely adorable in every way! Lorelei did a great job, she just kept twirling and spinning in her costume. She was fascinated with Tinker Bell and Peter Pan in the play and was super excited to get to hold Peter Pan's hand at the end of the show.
She has had such a wonderful ballet year with a precious little group of girls. We plan on having play dates with them throughout the summer. So here are some pics of my little "Pixie Dust!"

Strike a pose!

The recital was held at a college with a beautiful theater and some pretty scenery outside too.

Smelling the flowers. Lorelei got a Tinkerbell flower arrangement after the show for her star performance!

Awww, how sweet!

My Ballerina!

Umm. . . how sweet is this?

Some pics from the play.

If you can't tell Lorelei is the one in the front middle, the smallest one!

I forgot to put on my zoom lens.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful sweet Mom! You've been with me through it all, loves me no matter what! Mom, you are the best! We love you!

Today we had fun at the LPV, as we like to refer to it, celebrating Mother's Day. It was nice to be with family and have a wonderful meal and relaxing day! Lots of props to my hubby who has treated me like royalty this week, doting on me and just being a sweetheart! I love a good holiday!

Mom and I both dressed in brown and green today and didn't know it till later in the day.

Me and my precious babies! Can't say how much I love these two!

Some Field Day Action!

My big lil' man had field day last week at school! His first field day of many and boy was it a hot one! I think he really enjoyed it and he did pretty well too! The best part of it was he was very laid back about it all, not caring who won or not. Of course in kindergarten they don't keep track of who won or not, everybody gets ribbons! It was a really fun day for us all and I got to hang out with Paxton's class all day.

We are just so proud an pleased with how this year has gone for Paxton. Thanks to his wonderful teachers and wonderful school!

Being the ever silly little boy!
Paxton's class dressed in white for field day.

The soccer kick!

The 50 yard dash. Paxton loves running fast but we always have to remind to look forward when he is running. He likes to look around to see where everybody is in the race.

The long jump. This boy can JUMP, like his daddy! Seriously I cannot jump as far as he can!

Paxton's kindergarten class.

Being silly!

The Spoon race.

Such concentration!

The Shuttle Run- or relay race between classes. Paxton's class came in second only behind K6, which are the bigger older kids anyway.
The sack race.

Paxton and his buddy Beckham getting ready for the three legged race.

Getting ready for some flag tag- not our best game!

Lorelei joined us for the afternoon portion and she got to play dolls with Maren!

Let me just tell you, these are the SWEETEST two little girls that you will find anywhere!
Wait! Is that Josh getting ready for some flag tag?

Yes it is! And it appears that he is quite good at this game! Josh won and beat all the other parents and teachers in the flag tag game. Way to go Daddy!
Paxton was very proud!
