Yes, that's right folks, Paxton is up and walking! He started by crawling last week and then a few days later he was pulling himself up to a standing position. Then yesterday he started hobbling across the floor on it. (We feel like new parents of an infant, going through the new stages of crawling, pulling self up, walking, etc.) It looks kind of a pitiful when he walks because his cast has his leg bent so he can't walk proficiently or anything. But all the same, I am surprised that less than 3 weeks ago he broke it and now he is doing so much better-Praise GOD! We go back to the orthopedic doctor tomorrow for x-rays, etc.
In other news, Paxton has had a lot of time to work on things like reading, writing, coloring and working on puzzles. Yesterday, I came in and found that he had done this whole Mickey Mouse puzzle by himself! I was pretty impressed! Now, I must say that we have worked on it with him several times before this time but he did do it all on his own this time. Puzzles are definitely not my strong point so I am glad that Paxton likes them and can do them. So here are the pics of him walking and working on his puzzle. Of course I have to throw in a few of the princess as well!

hooray for paxton. glad he is finding ways to have fun. and can't believe you are just now discovering the disney outlet. it's been a favorite of our's since college. has paxton seen mickey's three musketeers? i think it is spencer's favorite right now. he wants to have a "sword" birthday party so that he can include all his current disney favorites: robin hood, peter pan, pirates, and three musketeers.
