Crazy Fun!

This past Saturday we had another whirlwind day. You know, one of those where you try to pack in as much fun as possible without completely losing your mind? Anyway, we started Saturday morning off by going to a fall festival that we attend yearly. I don't think the kids remembered it on the way (they are still on Disney overload). We told them we were going to play games and ride rides and Lorelei wanted to know if we could ride It's a Small World?

We had a great time on Saturday and it was hot. I am so ready for fall! Paxton loved all the jump ups and especially the spider crawl, in which daddy had to climb to the top with Paxton- he did a great job too- only adult as well! Lorelei loved the swings ride and they both enjoyed the ride that spins you around and around (not for me!) Paxton also got to do the spider jump, which he has done before at the mall. He is so cute doing flips or at least trying to. I think he did make one or two full flips. The kids also got to ride ponies. We ate lots of junk, played lots of games and had a great time.
After the festival we headed to Emilie's 4th birthday party. It was a Mermaid party and Ariel was there! Lorelei dressed up in her Cinderella princess gown (and I pulled her hair in a bun and she look precious!) and Paxton was a pirate. Ariel gave the kids tattoos, painted their faces, made balloon shapes for them and then did a magic show! It was so much fun and to look at Emilie's face was the best part- she was captivated! The kids had a great time eating and playing in Emilie's backyard. I don't know how they kept going all day, with no nap, maybe it was all the sugar? We finished the day by going out for dinner and then crashing when we got home. Both kids were in bed and asleep by 7:45- ahhhh. . . that was nice! Here are the pictures that I took from the festival and the birthday party.

Uncle Matt was in the dunking booth. . .
