So, last week for Thanksgiving we went to Arkansas to visit Josh's family. The kids were so excited to get to see Nana and Papa and of course Bo (or is it Beau?) the dog. Paxton and Lorelei LOVE that dog. I think they chased that poor dog around the majority of the week! Anyway, we had a great time spending the holidays with them. The kids got to do some fun things like play with their cousins (one of which had trampoline and backyard for Paxton to run free in!), hunt for deer tracks in the woods with Uncle Jon, make cookies with Nana and visit an awesome Children's Museum in Little Rock. By the way, this museum is really neat and a great place for kids to do lots of hands on activities- plus it wasn't crowded at all! Of course, this mama loved getting some black Friday shopping done too! Whoohoo- I love a great deal!
We really enjoyed our time. Paxton kept telling Nana that he was going to move in next door to her! I guess he thinks that every grandchild should live next door to their grandparents, wherever they are! Here are some of the pics we took last week.
Papa and his "sweetie bug."
Cousin Emily singing "If you're happy and you know it."
Love these outdoor shots of Lorelei
Deer huntin': Ok, not really, but Uncle Jon did take Paxton way out into the woods to show him deer prints- Paxton loved it too!
Uncle Jerry and Emily- isn't she precious?
Paxton and Lorelei sitting in Uncle Jon's boat.
Grandma or "Grandmal" as my kiddos call her!
YUMMY! Nana made this cake for Thanksgiving and yes it was every bit as good as it looks!
Taking a break from chasing the dog- Paxton, Lorelei and Riley
The obligatory cousin shot: Lorelei, Paxton, Riley, and Emily
Happy Thanksgiving Day!
Josh and Nana took the kids out to visit their cousins in Cabot. They loved playing with Jaden, Dylan and Delaney.

Making Cookies with Nana. Paxton and Lorelei loved using the new cookie cutter Nana bought and decorating the cookies with icing and sprinkles! They especially loved eating them! Of course Lorelei just ate the sprinkles off her cookie.
Silly Girl! They both loved getting in Bo's kennel all week! Too much fun, maybe I should get one at home? (Don't get too excited Josh, I meant a kennel not a dog! Ha!)
