Happy Easter

Happy Easter to everyone! We had a wonderful day celebrating Jesus and his resurrection! We spent the day with family and in the beautiful weather! We had a lovely lunch and Easter Egg hunt at Grandmama and Grandaddy's house today in all of our Easter garb! The kids had fun this morning looking in their Easter baskets to see what the Easter bunny brought them this year. Paxton got a Lite Bright and a new Wii game and Lorelei got the Princess and the Frog nightgown and movie along with Alice in Wonderland DVD. At breakfast the kids found two eggs on their placemats. One egg had money in it to give to God's plate and the other one was empty to remind them of the empty tomb of Jesus!

This weekend Nana and Papa got to come for a very short but fun visit. Yesterday the kids had another Easter Egg hunt at church. They had lots of crafts and activities for the kids to do before the actual hunt. Lorelei and Paxton hunted in separate age groups so we only got pictures of Paxton hunting the eggs this year. I think next year they will be grouped together. Anyway, here are some pics from our fun but very busy weekend! More to come later!
Now how cute are these two?
Who's ready to hunt some eggs?
